On the morning of July 2, 2023, Newcastle Chinese School held the graduation ceremony for the 2022-23 school year, announcing the successful end of this school year.
At the graduation ceremony, Mr. Jiang Shengfu, Vice Chairman of the School Board, delivered a speech on behalf of the School Board and Chairman Wu Shanxiong. He first thanked all teachers and volunteers for their hard work this year, and also thanked all parents for encouraging their children to come to the Chinese school to get to know each other. He also hoped that more outstanding teachers and volunteers would join the school next year to maintain and improve the school’s education level.
Subsequently, Principal Qi Yongqiang delivered a speech. I would like to thank all the faculty and staff for their hard work over the past year and speak highly of their work performance. We also thank all parents for their support and trust in the school. Looking back at the beginning of the school year last year, the school switched from online courses during the epidemic to offline courses. The sudden increase in the number of students put great pressure on the school. Fortunately, parents were very supportive and reasonable, and teachers and school directors worked together. With hard work, the school’s operations quickly got on track, and a series of activities such as Teachers’ Day, Christmas, Spring Festival, and Spring Outings were successfully held, which established a strong bond between teachers and students and laid a solid foundation for future teaching work. Finally, Principal Qi also praised all the students for their excellent style of respecting teachers and teaching and studying hard, and wished them a safe, happy and fulfilling summer vacation, and that they can achieve greater success in their future studies!
After the speech, Teacher Chen Jinlan read out the list of all outstanding students, students with progress awards and students with perfect attendance awards. The students came to the stage one by one to receive certificates and prizes and took group photos. Let us hope that next year will be even better! ! !
2023年7月2日上午，新堡市中文学校举办了2022-23学年毕业典礼，宣告本学年顺利结束。
在毕业典礼上，校董会副主席江胜福先生代表校董会和伍善雄主席发表了讲话，他首先感谢了所有老师和志愿者这一年的辛勤工作，也感谢所有家长鼓励孩子来中文学校结识新朋友和学习。之后他向家长们发出邀请，希望更多的家长可以参与到学校工作中来，同时也希望明年能有更多优秀的教师和志愿者加入学校，保持和提高学校的教育水平。
随后，校长戚勇强发表讲话。感谢全体教职员工在过去一年内的付出，对于他们的工作表现给予高度的评价。同时感谢所有家长对学校的支持和信任。回顾去年开学之初，学校从疫情的线上课程转回线下课程，学生人数的暴涨给学校带来莫大的压力，好在家长们都非常支持和通情达理，加上老师和校董们的共同努力，学校运作很快步入正轨，成功举办了教师节，圣诞节，春节，春游等一系列活动，在师生之间建立了牢固的纽带，为今后的教学工作打下了坚实的基础。最后，戚校长也表扬了全体同学尊师重教，认真学习的优秀作风，祝愿他们有一个安全，愉快，充实的暑假，在今后的学习中更上一层楼！
讲话之后，陈锦蓝老师朗读了所有优秀学生，进步奖学生和全勤奖学生名单，同学们依次上台接受奖状和奖品，合影留念。让我们共同期盼明年会更好！！！
